  34. AGREP is a port of the UNIX utility for searching text files.  It is similar
  35. to grep, egrep, fgrep but faster and much more general.  The two most
  36. significant features of agrep that are not supported by the grep family are:
  37. * the ability to search for approximate patterns
  38. * agrep is record-oriented rather than just line-oriented
  39.  
  40. Included is a desktop interface for those with the Desktop Development
  41. Environment (DDE).
